This Erasmus course is designed for language teachers who wish to enhance their teaching methods by using educational apps, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence. With a strong focus on modern language teaching approaches, this course will help educators transform their classrooms into dynamic, engaging, and collaborative spaces
The course is designed for language teachers seeking to explore and incorporate online resources into their teaching practice and it will focus on promoting the use of digital tools that complement traditional teaching materials, enhancing educators' ability to motivate and engage their students. These digital tools can be seamlessly integrated into the learning process, helping to equip students with the mindset and skills necessary to successfully learn a new language.
However, selecting the right digital tools for language learning is not always an easy task. How can we determine which online tool best meets the needs of our classroom? Why should we invest time and effort into something that may ultimately add more complexity to our work? To address these questions in our Erasmus+ course for language teachers, we will begin by introducing a curated list of the most effective tools designed to support language teaching and learning. We will then focus on the most popular and useful ones, providing hands-on experience for participants.
Throughout the course, participants will discuss the benefits of ICT in Language Education and evaluate a variety of AI-powered platforms and educational tools specifically designed to meet the needs of language learners. By using them, educators will learn to design interactive lessons that encourage active student participation and help with easy language acquisition. From AI-powered apps to digital collaborative tools, participants will gain hands-on experience in integrating technology into their daily language teaching practices.
In addition, the course will address key topics such as collaborative language learning outside the classroom environment. And not least, participants are encouraged to share their own experiences, allowing the collective benefits of the course to grow.
Teachers will leave the course with the ability to personalize lessons, track student progress efficiently, and create a language learning environment that motivates.
